It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Thrive Life Freeze-Dried Foods closing its doors, effective August 31, 2025. After this date, these exceptional products will no longer be available.
July 16, 2025, was a day filled with emotion. We were notified that Thrive Life, the company we’ve loved and served for so many years, would be shutting down. The announcement came as a complete shock to our Thrive Life community. For over 14 years, and reaching the top rank of Diamond with over 23,000 customers an active team, this wasn’t just my work—it was my passion, my purpose, and my commitment.
Thrive Life has undergone a corporate takeover. The founders and the executive team—the heart and soul of the company—are no longer with us. These were the people who brought warmth, laughter, and life to our work. Their vision, humor, and energy made Thrive Life more than just a company—it was a family.
I started with this company back when it was called Shelf Reliance. I was instantly amazed by the quality of the food. Fourteen years later, that same quality remains unmatched. Thanks to Nutrilock™ – the taste, nutrition, and shelf life made Thrive Life a true standout in the food industry.
We always believed this food would reach the world—and it has. But sadly, we as consultants were not part of the long-term plan. That fact alone speaks volumes. It’s heartbreaking to think I won’t receive my monthly order anymore. To me, it’s like losing my favorite food—my go-to source of peace and security. I truly grieve this loss.
Over the years, Thrive Life brought more than just convenience to my kitchen. It gave my family and so many others comfort during hard times—when job loss or unexpected challenges disrupted our lives. I am deeply grateful to my friends, family, neighbours, and the hundreds of customers who supported me throughout this journey.
My mission has always been to help others feel peace of mind through preparation. With Thrive Life, people could stock their shelves with clean, balanced, and delicious foods that covered every food group—and offered a 25-year shelf life. The taste and quality never disappointed.
Thank you for allowing me into your homes, for trusting me to guide you, and for embracing these incredible products. A special thank-you to the Thrive Life Leadership Team—JJSE&S—for your unwavering support and encouragement. You will never be forgotten.
Though this chapter is ending, I hold onto the belief that when one door closes, another opens. This transition may bring sadness, but it also brings the opportunity for new beginnings, renewed dreams, and continued growth.
